About the collection:
Swarm is an ongoing collection of unique illustrations of randomly fragmented patterns generated by using a spline to connect 60 points on a circle, outside the visible perimeter of the actual drawing, and then filling the resulting shapes with various patterns.
Apart from choosing the actual patterns for each piece, all other processes are randomly chosen via various randomization software and tools, so there is a very minimal curation from my end.
Each illustration will be issued in 20 editions only!
About the process:
A pen-plotter is a computer-driven line-drawing output device that produces high-quality plots on paper or other mediums. Pen plotters can use a variety of drawing and writing instruments, including fountain pens, ballpoint pens, fine liners, or even pencils.
Unlike prints, all plots are unique.
Even though I will never ship a plot that I do not consider to be in perfect shape, please keep in mind that small variances in ink flow are considered a normal aspect of the plotting process.
Before ordering, please have a look at the close-up photos of the artwork for a better understanding of this aspect.
Each illustration will normally be plotted upon ordering so please allow about a week for me to prepare your artwork.
Every plot is labeled, numbered, and signed on the front. It ships flat and unframed.
